RETREAT DESCRIPTION

The format of this supported self-retreat offers a spacious, largely unstructured daily schedule to allow participants to guide their own practice. In order to help make this the most productive period of practice possible, each participant will meet with Carole early in the retreat to discuss the most skillful ways to approach this retreat time with clarity of purpose and aspiration.

There will be two optional group meditation sessions offered daily, one in the morning and one in the evening, with optional chanting. Carole will also offer an optional daily Dhamma reflection with Q&A and optional afternoon Qi Gong practice for the full group. Throughout the retreat, Carole will be readily available to all participants for one-on-one practice check-ins and to respond to questions as they arise.

EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES:   Three silent, residential, Buddhist meditation retreats at least 6 days long and at least one of which was in the Theravadin/insight tradition.

Partial attendance is not offered for this retreat. Please plan to attend the full 7 days.
