RETREAT DESCRIPTION

Come join us for a weekend of all kinds of inside and outside projecting at Cloud Mountain! This is offered as a time to come together as a sangha in a relaxed and informal environment of work and fun to take on a variety of projects to spruce up and perfect the retreat center.

We’ll have opportunities to work, meditate, cook, and socialize together, enjoying and connecting with Cloud Mountain and each other in a whole new way. We can investigate together in a lighthearted spirit what it means to walk the Eightfold Path. You can come for a few hours, a day, or both days – whatever works for you. We are grateful for any and all help you can provide as we all share in a field of gratitude that Cloud Mountain exists as a spiritual resource for so many.

There will be indoor and tons of outdoor projects to work on. We’ll be ready to put up the next 5 yurts and we’ll be landscaping the Yurt Village to give it the feeling of a peaceful Zen garden. As the time approaches we’ll send out more specifics about what all we’ll be working on. The work day will run from roughly 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

During these difficult times, we can find great joy and fulfillment in coming together as sangha to offer our hands-on Dhamma support by working on important projects, dedicating our efforts to the happiness, well being and ultimate liberation of all beings. Come join us for the weekend and experience the joy of service and sangha!!
