RETREAT DESCRIPTION

In this Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom) retreat we will learn a gentle and intuitive system of working with body and mind in a natural way. As skill in this method grows, we find ourselves increasingly in touch with now. The world around us is experienced more vividly. This in turn leads to feeling less brittle and more curious. We find greater capacity for handling life without being driven by fear and reactivity.

With the deepening of this natural unfolding comes more simplicity, intuition, friendliness and clarity. This is not just an experience on the cushion, it can become a way of operating all throughout our lives.

This method is a good fit for those with any level of meditation experience, from beginners to life-long practitioners. Learn to practice in a direct, intuitive and wordless way.

This retreat will be held in noble silence and will include:
• Learning the 7-Point Vairocana posture and post meditation massage
• Guidance on how to cultivate and balance tranquility and clear knowing
• Natural entries into expansive, effortless awareness
• The interplay between welcoming and experiencing emptiness
• Guidance on developing liberating wisdom and how it frees
• A simple system for turning life itself into transformative practice
• Optional daily forgiveness practice and qi-gong

Partial attendance is not offered on this retreat. Additionally, please consider attending this retreat only if your current life circumstances allow you to engage in an important modern renunciation practice of staying offline and off phone/text during the entire course of the retreat (some exceptions related to pressing family situations may be granted.)
