RETREAT DESCRIPTION

“The Dhamma is visible in the here and now, timeless, inviting verification, pertinent, to be realized by the wise for themselves.”    — Gautama Buddha —

Over the course of this retreat we will explore how to realize and experience release from fear and reactivity in the here and now. As liberating wisdom and expansive awareness develops it is possible to experience freedom from triggers. As this understanding matures we learn to live in this way moment to moment all throughout life.

This retreat will be held in noble silence and is open to students of all experience levels. The retreat content will include:

  • Learning to cultivate the skill of release
  • Entries into expansive, effortless awareness and emptiness
  • Opportunities to tap-in to welcoming and kindness
  • Instruction for practicing in various postures and throughout daily life
  • Guidance on meditation posture and post-meditation self-massage
  • Optional daily qi gong

Partial attendance is not offered on this retreat. Additionally, please consider attending this retreat only if your current life circumstances allow you to engage in an important modern renunciation practice of staying offline and off phone/text during the entire course of the retreat (some exceptions related to pressing family situations may be granted.)
