RETREAT DESCRIPTION

The Five Spiritual Faculties (Confidence/Conviction, Energy, Mindfulness, Samadhi and Wisdom/Discernment) form a loop in the progression of the heart’s development along the path. The more we investigate present moment experience, the easier it is to recognize and let go of unskillful habits and open to the confidence of a loving heart and the wisdom of a discerning mind.

This retreat will include meditation instructions, periods of silent sitting and walking meditation, Dhamma reflections, group meetings and Q&As with the teacher.

This retreat is appropriate for both beginning and experienced meditators.

Optional qi gong practice will be offered as well.

Partial attendance is not offered on this retreat. Additionally, please consider attending this retreat only if your current life circumstances allow you to engage in an important modern renunciation practice of staying offline and off phone/text during the entire course of the retreat (some exceptions related to pressing family situations may be granted.)
