RETREAT DESCRIPTION
The Seven Factors of Awakening are at the heart of Buddhist practice. By cultivating mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy, tranquility, collectedness and equanimity, we are strengthening the innate qualities that lead to a blossoming of our natural potential.
Starting where we are, we will explore how these seven treasures reveal and release ingrained habits that limit our growth and block our healing. As we engage in this process, opportunities to recalibrate our inner and outer worlds emerge – opening into the next steps on the Path.
This retreat will be held in Noble Silence. The daily schedule will include Dhamma reflections, meditation instructions, sitting/stationary & walking/movement meditation sessions, chanting, Q&A and practice discussions with the teachers.
Partial attendance is not offered on this retreat. Additionally, please consider attending this retreat only if your current life circumstances allow you to engage in an important modern renunciation practice of staying offline and off phone/text during the entire course of the retreat (some exceptions related to pressing family situations may be granted.)
